Ahsanullah

Afghanistan is often seen as a battle field at the world scene. There is one family from Mazar Sharif City in Central Afghanistan which however has another battle field to conquer. Syed Ahsan Ullah was just 4 when he faced severe mouth infection and continuous fever. His father Syed Asif is a Quran Teacher in a Masjid in Mazar Sharif. His worries were multiplied when the local doctors asked him to take his son to either India or Pakistan for proper treatment. One of his friends in Karachi advised him to get the kid admitted in CCH. As Asif explains, Ahsanullah had become quite frail till that time and he used to cry most of the time with the pain he was going through. Ahsanullah got admitted for 8 days at CCH, the treatment went well and now he is on his way to recovery. The family now resides in a rented house in Karachi and brings Ahsanullah regularly to CCH at day care therapy. Asif is a native Persian speaker and speaks Urdu with some degree of difficulty. However, when he spoke about the facilities at CCH and the response they get from CCH staff and doctors, he breaks into tears with a broad smile on his face. His trust and affection for CCH needs no language to explain. He and his son are the soldiers who fight cancer every day with the courage they inherit from the land of Afghanistan. CCH needs you to be their partners in this battle. Click here to know how can you help us.
