Children Cancer Hospital had organized an Annual Get Together for patients and their families held on Saturday 5th November 2011 at hospital premises. Around 500 guests participated including patients their family members, hospital staff & our V-team fellows.
The program started with recitation of Holy Quran.
One of the most well-liked comedians Mr. Saleem Sheikh and Mr. Aamir Raza performed and played different jokes & skits. They entertained the children a lot with their immaculate performance. The kids enjoyed a wonderful, their faces were brightened and parents also enjoyed.
The kid Maryam showed a wonderful circus show and famous magician Mr. Latif performed different magic’s & juggler show which was a welcome change for kids. It was visible that the parents were involved themselves as well as the kids very much. The rooftop of the hospital & its premises looked really lovely with different stalls for prizes, face painting, mehndi and CCH. The Hospital looked really festive with the balloons, lights & the ribbons.
We are very thankful our V-team specially to Mr. Omer Mateen, Ms. Zartaj, Ms. Wardah Mushtaq, Ms. Zainab Hussain, Mr. Faysal Subhani, Mr.Sameed & Ms. Sidra who entertained the kids with stories, games & with the face painting. We were also thankful to Mr. Munir Moosa-volunteer and their team who were doing the face painting, mehndi and bring gifts for the kid’s patients.
In last CEO Dr. Shamvil brief about the CCF services and appreciate the CCF team to organize a wonderful event and also distributed the gifts among the kids.
CCH Team specially Mr. Kazi Munir and Ms. Sarwat done a great efforts with the decorations and organized well. All in all it was a great effort by the Resource Development Department & others sections of the hospital. Dr. Farhat hosted the event. Great team work!
